I love it when I accept 2 or more people celebrating the same affair. Altogether'southward, Accomplishments, Graduations, Moving in to a new home, or simply just give me reasons to thank them. Why? Because when I'm getting creative, I like to practice it on a mass level.

Why not spread the love to more than just one person?

This week, I had TWO friends moving in to new homes! My DIY Housewarming Souvenir was born…

DIY Housewarming Gift Idea:

I haven't met a gal yet who doesn't dear a good ole drink dispenser.

They either want it, to store their tea in, or they desire it for the parties they're throwing at dwelling.

I knew a drink dispenser was TOTALLY going to be the base of operations of my DIY Housewarming Gift.

All of the goodies within, were just the added ruddy on elevation, while shopping.

I knew I wanted the contents of the gift to be things my friends would need when moving in to a new home. You lot know, those things you don't think about, until yous need them? There'southward zip more frustrating than gettin' in a groove, unpacking, hanging things upward, when you realize you're out of something, and you have to stop what y'all're doing, and run to the hardware shop.

Well, if you're annihilation like me, by the fourth dimension you run to the shop, and become back dwelling house…

Forgettaboutit. I'thou pooped.

I love coming to my friends rescue. I told yous that when I showed yous my DIY Ill Kit for friends. At that place's just something nigh helping others, that makes it easier to rest my caput at nighttime, right?!

Past far,my favorite thing virtually this DIY housewarming gift thought, was that the drink dispenser did all of the decorating for me. It's pretty plenty, that I simply just tied a ribbon around it. BAM!

DIY Drinkable Dispenser Contents:

• Beverage Dispenser (shocker, I know)

• Hand towel (white is always rubber. Necktie a ribbon around it, to continue it minor in the jar.)

• Surge Bar

• Furniture Pads {so they don't scratch the flooring}

• Gorilla Glue

• Furniture Dusting Wipes

• Batteries

• Furniture Touch-Upwardly Crayons

• Monkey Hooks (Side by side to Control Strips, these are my favorite things to hang items with.)

• A book for the kiddos to read, while mom and dad unpack.

I just lucked out at the time the motion-picture show, "Home," was pop! 😉

I just stuffed the drink dispenser full of the goodies, and tied a cute little ribbon around it with my homemade label. You'll be amused to run into how like shooting fish in a barrel the label was to make below:

I just grabbed 3 paint swatches from the store.

I used one for the background, cutting a corner off of some other for the roof, and cutting a square out of the last ane for the walls of the business firm. I used glue dots to attach the house to the groundwork paint sample, and wall-lah. I had a "heart," sticker from a previous project left over, and I attached that too, to had a little, "umph."

So wrote a little message to the new neighbors.

I used a pigsty punch to make two holes in each corner, and tied the ribbon through, and around the drink dispenser… and called it a day.

 Nosotros went around the post-obit weekend, delivering the housewarming gifts, and my kids had a blast! Making it a family unit event made it all worth it too.
